Management Team

	David Canellos – President and CEO David is President and CEO of PerspecSys. Previously, David was SVP of Sales and Marketing at Irdeto Worldwide, a division of Naspers. Prior to that, David was the President and COO of Cloakware, which was acquired by Irdeto. Before joining Cloakware, David was the General Manager and Vice President of Sales for Cramer Systems (now Amdocs), a UK-based company, where he was responsible for the company’s revenue and operations in the Americas. Prior to his work with Cramer, David held a variety of executive, sales management and business development positions with the Oracle Corporation, Versatility and SAIC.

	Gerry Grealish – Vice President, Marketing & Products Gerry is responsible for defining and executing PerspecSys’ marketing vision and driving revenue growth through strategic market expansion and new product development. Previously, Gerry ran Product Marketing for the TNS Payments Division, helping create the marketing and product strategy for its payment gateway and tokenization/encryption security solutions. He has held senior marketing and leadership roles for venture-backed startups as well as F500 companies, and his industry experience includes enterprise analytical software, payment processing and security services, and marketing and credit risk decisioning platforms.

	Mike Morrissey – Vice President, Research & Development Mike leads PerspecSys’ product development and technical support organizations and helps to define and deliver innovative capabilities within PerspecSys’ cloud data protection solution. A former executive at Research In Motion (RIM), Descartes Systems Group, and IBM, Mike has more than 20 years of engineering, product development, and infrastructure management experience. As RIM’s Vice President of Cloud and Platform Services, he led the development and architecture of the company’s core platform, including key identity components and technologies from Certicom, a wholly owned RIM subsidiary that provided innovative cryptography and security capabilities.

	John Emerson – Vice President, Sales As the Vice President of Sales at PerspecSys, John is responsible for developing and managing global sales strategy to drive PerspecSys’ business development objectives. John joins PerspecSys from Symplified where he was RVP, Sales covering Europe and major US segments. Earlier, John was RVP, Sales at AmberPoint (now Oracle), where his team led sales results five out of eight years. John has also held various business development, sales, and sales leadership roles with Sun Microsystems, Forté Software, Empress Database Software, PTS Capital, HP and IBM.

	LJ Alefantis – Area Vice President, Sales As a regional sales leader, LJ is responsible to drive business development across multiple territories. LJ joins PerspecSys from Virginia-based Approva where for eight years he led multi-market sales efforts for governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions. Prior to Approva, LJ was with Cognos, selling business intelligence (BI) to companies with more than $1B in annual revenue. Before Cognos, LJ held sales roles with webMethods (now Software AG), selling enterprise application integration (EAI) to major commercial accounts.

	Tracy Wainman – Vice President, Finance Tracy is the Vice President, Finance and Administration at PerspecSys. Prior to joining PerspecSys, Tracy had her own consulting company, working with early-stage technology and telecommunications companies to manage growth and effect organizational change. Tracy has expertise and a proven record in helping to build businesses with international exposure. Tracy has held many corporate and advisory roles within both mature and entrepreneurial environments, such as Numetrix Inc., Canadian Media Network, Telespectrum, Look Communications, Mobile Computing Corporation and Shoplogix Inc.

	John Woelfel – Senior Director, Engineering John is PerspecSys’ Senior Director, Engineering and has been designing and implementing software and technology solutions for more than 20 years. Previously, he led his own consulting firm, providing technology consulting, customized software solutions, IT support, and website design services. He was also the Vice President of Technology of Mint Inc., where he delivered innovative technologies such as a mobile payment solution for the parking industry in Canada and the US. Before joining Mint, John worked for Ericsson and helped design and deliver a telco-grade MMS/SMS messaging gateway solution used by major US-based cell phone providers.

	David Stott – Senior Director, Product Management As Senior Director, Product Management, David leads efforts to ensure products and services meet market requirements. David works closely with multiple internal teams and client stakeholders to develop excellent customer experiences and advance the strategic product direction. He is an experienced product management and marketing professional with a successful record of aligning market needs and opportunities with product requirements, functionality, and go-to-market strategies. David joined PerspecSys from Covarity and has also held product management and marketing leadership roles with Angoss Software, ADP, and Ironside Technologies.
