PRS Server
The core component of PerspecSys’ Cloud Data Protection Gateway solution is the PRS (Privacy, Residency, Security) Server. The PRS Server allows organizations to use and benefit from Cloud applications without associated concerns about data privacy and security. Using patented technology, the PerspecSys solution gives enterprises total control of their sensitive data, never requiring it leave their corporate environment in “the clear”. The information that enters the Cloud is tokenized or encrypted, ensuring that sensitive data remains undecipherable until it is brought back into the company’s corporate environment.
The PRS Server can be deployed in your data center or it can reside “virtually” between your network and your cloud provider’s network at a third-party location. The solution is architected with a modular approach that provides interoperability with Cloud applications from Oracle, Salesforce, Amazon, and others.

PRS Mail Transfer Agent (MTA)
The PerspecSys PRS MTA is a Mail Transfer Agent that works in conjunction with a Cloud application’s email services.
Communicating via email to prospects and customers is a staple feature in many Cloud applications. However, for applications like Salesforce.com and Oracle CRM On Demand to offer this functionality, email addresses, contact details and other potentially sensitive embedded information must reside in the Cloud application. For organizations that don’t put sensitive contact information into the Cloud, email functionality simply isn’t available.
PerspecSys’ PRS MTA allows organizations to use email services, even when contact and other sensitive information is no longer in the Cloud.
The PRS MTA server ensures that email from your organization is routed through your own mail servers, leveraging all of the existing corporate email security, handling policies, and support systems such as spam filtering and virus detection. You can utilize the email functionality of the Cloud application, while ensuring that no sensitive email addresses are stored in the cloud.
- Security – You can use the core e-mail function of the Cloud application without concerns about the security of sensitive information. The PRS MTA Server enables full email functionality even though none of your sensitive contact data is in the Cloud.
- Interoperability – Easily deployed in conjunction with the PRS Server, the solution routes all mail through your corporate mail servers, ensuring all of your corporate e-mail security and policies are automatically applied
PerspecSys PRS Server Adaptors
Adaptor modules are available for use with the PRS Server for integration with popular Cloud applications such as Oracle CRM On Demand, salesforce.com, and others.
These modules provide users with the full functionality of Cloud applications while ensuring that the core privacy, residency and security capabilities of the PRS Server are being applied to sensitive corporate information.
