Communicating via email to prospects and customers is a staple feature in many Cloud applications. However, for applications like Salesforce.com and Oracle CRM On Demand to offer this functionality, email addresses, contact details and other potentially sensitive embedded information must reside in the Cloud application. For organizations that don’t put sensitive contact information into the Cloud, email functionality simply isn’t available.
PerspecSys’ PRS MTA allows organizations to use email services, even when contact and other sensitive information is no longer in the Cloud.
The PRS MTA server ensures that email from your organization is routed through your own mail servers, leveraging all of the existing corporate email security, handling policies, and support systems such as spam filtering and virus detection. You can utilize the email functionality of the Cloud application, while ensuring that no sensitive email addresses are stored in the cloud.
