The core component of PerspecSys’ Cloud Data Protection Gateway solution is the PRS (Privacy, Residency, Security) Server. The PRS Server allows organizations to use and benefit from Cloud applications without associated concerns about data privacy and security. Using patented technology, the PerspecSys solution gives enterprises total control of their sensitive data, never requiring it leave their corporate environment in “the clear”. The information that enters the Cloud is tokenized or encrypted, ensuring that sensitive data remains undecipherable until it is brought back into the company’s corporate environment.

The PRS Server can be deployed in your data center or it can reside “virtually” between your network and your cloud provider’s network at a third-party location. The solution is architected with a modular approach that provides interoperability with Cloud applications from Oracle, Salesforce, Amazon, and others.

Key Benefits
  • Security - No data is shared in “the clear” outside of your network control; data is secured with field-level control based on user defined tokenization or encryption options
  • Full Functionality - Users have complete access to the features and functions of the SaaS application such as searching, reporting, and e-mailing
  • Simple Configuration and Deployment – Administrative dashboard allows you to easily configure your data protection policies and plug-in modules are available to connect with popular Cloud-based applications
  • Flexibility – The solution is designed to fit with the way you do business. For example, the PRS Server can be deployed in a variety of architectural configurations to meet your specific security needs.
Key Features
  • Ability, at the data field level, to encrypt, tokenize, or leave data in “the clear” when it is sent to your cloud applications
  • Identifies and restricts access to and use of sensitive data through black and whitelists, and optionally, through regional or group designations
  • Monitors data use for corporate and legal compliance requirements
  • Ensures that data stays where you prescribe (e.g. on a network server, within a building or within a country)
  • Manages location sensitivity through an optional reverse proxy server, can ensure the same security for remote users outside your firewall.
  • Restricts which data can be transferred to and from cloud applications
