GrowthWorks Commercialization Fund announced today that it recently completed an investment in Orangeville, ON software company, PerspecSys Inc., which offers true SOA-based Enterprise Information Management solutions for premises-based and on-demand environments. The funding will be used to further the company’s technology and expand sales and marketing initiatives."Enterprise information management, security, and compliance continue to be pressing concerns for corporations worldwide. PerspecSys’ vision looks to address these requirements, and mitigates insider threats not solved by perimeter security solutions," said Tim Lee, Senior Vice President, Investments of GrowthWorks. "As with previous investments by GrowthWorks Commercialization Fund, this investment in PerspecSys and its team continues to demonstrate our commitment to funding the development of market-forward Ontario-based seed stage technology companies."
