Salesforce.com customers can now deploy the Information Server SaaS Edition™ to meet data residency requirements when working with Salesforce
PerspecSys Inc. has announced the initial availability of the PerspecSys Information Server SaaS Edition™ for Salesforce and Force.com, addressing the data residency issues facing on-demand application adoption. Salesforce users can now keep sensitive information within the enterprise. PerspecSys Information Server SaaS Edition™ is immediately available for test drive and early adoption by contacting PerspecSys. The announcement was made today at Dreamforce Europe, salesforce.com’s User and Developer Conference.
A key challenge to adopting Software-as-a-Service applications and platforms is data residency. Security, compliance, privacy, and other requirements hinder adoption by preventing sensitive information from being hosted within the SaaS application. The PerspecSys Information Server SaaS Edition™ addresses the data residency issue by ensuring that key information stays within the enterprise while using SaaS solutions such as Salesforce.
