Protect Your Data With PerspecSys Deployed Via IaaS Partners
Many enterprises are now working with Infrastructure as a Service partners to deploy and maintain their cloud computing environments. IaaS providers offer enterprises benefits such as a utility service model, where business can pay per use on a subscription basis and dynamic scaling, where the enterprise can scale up and down infrastructure services very quickly based on application usage.
One of the benefits of PerspecSys’ architectural approach is that it offers our customers tremendous flexibility in how they choose to deploy the solution. Many customers opt to deploy the PerspecSys Cloud Data Protection Gateway via their IaaS partners (such as Amazon EC2 or Fujitsu). Customers are able to source the gateway solution from PerspecSys and adopt the utility model described above on any required infrastructure needed to deploy the solution.
When data residency is the primary business requirement for adopting the PerspecSys Cloud Data Protection Gateway, organizations can use IaaS partners in their same geography to deploy the PerspecSys solution on their behalf. The data would remain resident in the location of the IaaS partner, and only tokens (assuming tokenization is used to meet data residency requirements) would leave the geographic location for processing or storage in the cloud service provider’s data centers located in other countries.
