Based on the PerspecSys Information Server™, the SaaS Edition™ allows SaaS applications to operate with little or no customizations, while managing access to the information as it resides both within the enterprise, as well as on the SaaS application’s servers. In this way, information that needs to stay within the enterprise can do so, while the rest of the information can continue to be hosted by the SaaS application servers.

Leveraging advanced information management techniques and technology, the SaaS Edition™ server simply plugs in between the SaaS application user’s browser and the SaaS application.
Graphical Development and Deployment
The SaaS Edition™ development environment runs within a browser, allowing the developer to simply launch the SaaS application, and graphically identify information elements that need to stay locally resident. The development tool automatically configures the SaaS EditionTM server – no additional programming required.
The SaaS Edition™ also provides ‘pre-load’ tools, allowing existing information repositories to be loaded as part of the SaaS application deployment. In this way, existing information such as customer records can be separated into locally resident information and the SaaS application information.
Scalable from 5 to 50,000
The SaaS Edition™ server is fully scalable, supporting user communities within the enterprise starting at 5 user subscriptions. Adding more users is as simple as adding per user subscriptions. As the SaaS Edition™ server usage grows, more servers can be added simply by plugging them in. The SaaS Edition™ servers automatically federate and load balance, making them perfect for virtualized server deployments.
Advanced Functionality – Integrate with the Enterprise
Since SaaS Edition™ is based on the PerspecSys Information Server™, advanced enterprise information management services are also available to handle more sophisticated information management requirements. Leveraging a library of over 300 adapters, the SaaS Edition™ can easily integrate SaaS applications with existing applications and information repositories within the enterprise.
